The new semi-sunset view. Those are some serious cables.

I miss cooking.
Still no recipes to share this week. I’m dying to cook and craving vegetables. Sadly, the most cooking I have done in the past month is to boil water for tea.
We are still settling in and have been mostly living on the greatest invention ever – delivery food ordered through the TV. Pizza, heroes, Chinese & Thai.
Today we are finally grocery shopping. Yay, return to veggies!
Today’s picture was taken right outside Trader Joe’s in Cobble Hill.

Our first non moving-related weekend outing: the Brooklyn Flea. This market has Pretty much every really cool decorator thing that’s super trendy right now – old printing press letters, refurbished wood furniture, maps, lithographs, illustrations, 80s toys, dress firms, iron, keys, glasses, and vintage clothes out the wazoo. All housed in the flea’s winter home: a beautiful old bank.

Found this at the ShopRite in White Plains, where we just gappened to be today after hitting up the closest (open) Container Store with assured parking. There are 2 in Manhattan, but we did not want to deal with that level of drama.
I was tempted, just because the can is that cool, but buying alcohol because it’s pretty doesn’t usually work that well for me.
