Chillin’ with my Valentines

Working on my terrible selfie game on my way out to celebrate a friend’s leaving (celebrate our friendship, not that she’s going, though that a bit too).

Spent today running around town collecting going-away presents. Such is the downside to expat life – making friendships, and in these cases really good ones (ahem person who has not yet gotten their gift – spoilers!) – and then suddenly (or not so suddenly) having to say goodbye.

It’s not like I’ve never had to move or have had friends move away (though tbh, I’m always the one on the go it seems), but something about good expat friendships seems harder – they’re going to far flung corners of the world; not a state or two over. And the time zones … oof.

Woof, the air is crunchy today.

It’s an upscale pub. That we can walk to. 🤩🤩🤩
