Nice little waterfront walk that reminded us both of Jax.

I made a thing!

The neckline is too wide, the fabric is more outerwear than shirt-like, the seams aren’t finished, and I want both the wrap panels and belt to be longer – but I finished a project, drafted my first pattern, and got a new sewing machine up and running properly to do so – aaaand I even at least began by remembering to prewash my fabric and iron.

Tried ironing my finishes, but the ironing pad I bought was too crappy to stand up to high heat, and I have yet to bite the bullet and buy an ironing board.

Celebrating Oktoberfest with silly songs and lots of carbs 🍺 🥨

Some day I’ll pull the trigger and buy one of you guys.
