Photo Walk – Manhattan Bridge and Beyond – Part 1

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve done any sort of photo recap (October’s trip to Rhode Island) and I’m happy to get back at it while the weather isn’t freezing cold or blazing hot. This past weekend, the hubbs and I walked the Manhattan Bridge – over to Chinatown, through the Lower East Side, back to the water, to the Williamsburg bridge, and back to Chinatown (where we caught a train back home – we were exhausted!). It was a beautiful day and nice to get out and stretch our photographic legs after the killer winter we endured.

This is part 1 of our first photo walk of 2014 – better late than never. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3.

Manhattan Bridge

This is a great bridge to walk – or run. I didn’t capture any, but there are many pro-running sayings and little affirmations sprayed on the ground all along the bridge. It’s one of my DH’s favorite places to run in the city, and now I see why.
