I can’t pick just 1 snap from today. Athens is under a heat advisory so we opted to not tour the ruins we were going to day trip to, and go for some smaller museums instead. I’m glad we took the time! This oil on braided canvas piece is from the Goulandris Foundation MuseumI was in even more heaven at museum 2 – the Bernaki Museum. Tons of historical dress, textile arts and jewelry exhibits. Plus one of the largest groupings of Medieval iconographic art I think we’ve yet seen.
