I get pretty sunrises in the new place.

Back at it.

So, today’s POD was going to be this:

But then an impulse purchase at Petco was made, and this happened:

Goodbye, old place. We’ll um … er …. miss you but not really?

We will miss parts of you. The cheery brightness, 2 bedrooms, easy parking, and the price – definitely; the boring neighborhood, ball of fiery gas in my eyes while I’m trying to work, crappy paint job, broken elevator, flooded floors, back shower that never worked & non-functional kitchen – not so much.

On to bigger (but really the opposite of bigger) & better things.

It’s beginning to look a lot like our kitchen. This Klimt print plate was a wedding gift and has been in the kitchen of every single place we’ve lived in as a married couple. Guess this means we’re staying.

Oh yeah, microwaves have been invented. Nuked my first thing in two years for lunch today – leftover chicken laab salad.

If I squint, it *almost* looks like an office.

Bliss amid chaos

Moving day was … special, to say the least. It started off with this – 3 boxes eaten by my 13 year old lab in retaliation for having the audacity to go out for breakfast (and more boxes) – and progressed from there.

This is the culprit, looking very very innocent and nonchalant.
