Anarchy in Midtown

Sunshine Landmark Theater. Saw Cosmopolis. Definitely a Cronenberg film. I liked it, but need at least 4 re-watches to really “get” all the levels. The sparkly vampire guy wasn’t half bad – not at all shiny.

They still have these in places… wonder if this one works?

Labor Day on the George Washington.

Saw Sleepwalk With Me at the IFC Theatre today. Really well written movie – very funny – and was treated to not only some of the best movie theater popcorn ever, but a surprise Q&A session with Carol Kane. She played Mike Birbiglia’s mother in the film. You may also remember her from such films as The Princess Bride, where she played Billy Crystal’s wife.

Listened to a great Nerdist podcast this evening with Alton Brown as the guest. Even though he’s (Alton) curmudgeonly on Twitter, I still totally dig him.
