Taken at Homestead Miami Speedway. We went in a Shoot Miami outing at the speedway and shot a FARA race event from the pit. The track was impressive and the cars looked great. I can only imagine what it’s like on a NASCAR day. More pics to come!

Yay! After the little Bahamas luggage stealing incident, we finally have a non-camera point & shoot again! This one has manual mode, too, so we should be able to get some pretty decent shots. Now if only I could find a case that fits and isn’t butt ugly, we’d be in business.

Label makers are one of the best inventions ever for someone as anal-retentive, organization-oriented and office supply-obsessed as I am. Apparently I’m also quite fond of hyphens.
Oh, and they make great a great vehicle for sentiments that make one smile while sitting chained to their desk for 8 hours a day. It makes the grounding go over a little easier when I come up for air to see what the rest of the world is up to.

Whoo hoo. Channeling Steven Tyler & livin’ on the edge. My DH is working tonight and I’m living it up by eating my almost standard living the single life dinner–sushi. And not even exciting great sushi place sushi; Publix specialty loose-roll sushi. Man, I need to get out more.

We had an impromptu bowling excursion at Strike this afternoon. We set out to take pictures at the Zoo, but it was rainy and kind of freezing (for down here, anyways. I know. The rest of the country has snowmageddon…. but I chose not to live in the rest of the country) so we decided to hit up Dolphin Mall for some bowling & walking. I’m happy to report that even though I played like crap, I managed to eke out a win 🙂
